"piryokopi"

In 2014 we were approached by Cirque Du Soleil and tasked to workshop new material that could take these 'small' manipulation techniques (balls, batons, rings) and make them 'large' so they could work for a much bigger stage.

Piryokopi began as a collaboration between 4 artists, two French, one Japanese and myself as a Canadian. We were given residency at La Maison Des Jonglages in Paris, and began developing material that would eventually be presented as a full show at the end of 2016.
