Show: Circus and Mocap

Press Play was an experiment combining contemporary circus theatre with state-of-the-art Motion Capture equipment, resulting in a an early version of a Mixed-Reality performance where the actions in the real world could be augmented and displayed in the virtual. With a theme of imagination and childhood play, clubs became flocks of fish and balls and rings could transform into spaceships!

The 2 year project was a partnership with Animatrik Film design and Peppers Ghost, and the new production was based on an earlier work from 2018 that we created in the Mocap studio at Emily Carr for the Vancouver Fringe festival.
