Hoop Isolation – The Pong Routine
I improvised this short routine for a performance in Vancouver in 2008. It has since grown into a longer act, which I now perform as a solo at different events.
Working with the Vancouver Circus School
I worked with VCS from 2007 – 2010, helping them support the growth of the school (from a humble 60 students to over 600) and it was a fascinating experience to learn about the foundations of circus education. Along the way, I did several performances with Inner Ring Circus, notably:

Contact Manipulation Workshop in Vienna (2007)
Intensive workshop I developed and ran for a group of about 20 jugglers during a weekend with Fenfire.at in Vienna, Austria. By the end of the workshop, the students were able to demonstrate a variety of manipulation concepts, many of which are showcased in this video.

Hoop Isolation in Budapest : Ryan Mellors and Anna Haraszti
When I was living at the Hangar, I did a lot of research into hoop isolations with Jago, Anna and Drew. Anna and I worked on a circus/dance/theater piece which we first put on stage in 2006 at the Sziget festival.
I am currently performing a solo hoop act… and when I get the chance, I love to do my PONG routine.
